Our Data Center

Thinking Cap® maintains a fully managed facility with complete data and power redundancy. Secured by electronic and physical measures the facility is monitored 24X7. Thinking Cap customers are on separate physical servers tracked via SNMP behind an industrial firewall. We provide maintenance of these servers, firewall, virus protection and for some customers, load balanced clusters.

Here are the options for hosting your Thinking Cap installation with us.

Software as a Service

When you don't want to make an investment in licenses or hardware, the Software as a Service model lets you purchase the number of accounts you need on an annual basis. We are responsible for everything else. If convenience is what you need this is the option for your organization.

Hybrid Hosting

Don't want to host in your own data center right now but also don't think Software as a Service is for you? Then our Hybrid Hosting is an ideal solution. We procure your server and operating software licenses and install them along with your Thinking Cap licenses in our data center. Your server is available to be moved to your own data center at any time you wish. We manage the server for you but it is your server. Our hybrid model is the perfect match for cost control and flexibility.

Redundancy and Failover

All Thinking Cap products can be run in high availability mode, allowing you to run them on multiple redundant servers. Either extend your hybrid hosting to multiple servers or ask us about our high availability service option that picks up the load should something happen to your server.
