Textile Human Resources Council receives Brandon Hall Award.
In November Thinking Cap customer the Textile Human Resources Council received the Brandon Hall Award for Best Results of a Learning Program. The Skills and Learning Sites and Portals initiative envisioned by THRC provides employees at all levels with around-the-clock access to a wide range of customizable programs, performance support and communications tools in English and French. The site, built in Java Portlets, was created by the Thinking Cap Professional Services team and utilizes SOAP Web Services from both the Thinking Cap LCMS and LMS to create and deliver Skills training to over 200 member THRC Companies. Thinking Cap is responsible for the heavy lifting of the system and integrates seamlessly with both the IBM WebSphere Portlet Server and the LDAP based Membership Management system. TORONTO - The Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD) today announced the winners of the 2006 Canadian Awards for Training Excellence.
The annual awards recognize exemplary Canadian workplace learning and performance programs in a number of different categories.
This year´s winners - announced during this morning´s kick-off of CSTD´s Second Annual Learn @ Work Week, a national celebration of workplace learning and performance excellence - represent workplace training innovations in a number of different sectors, including telecommunications, technology, human capital management, financial services, energy and not-for-profit.
